Shipping Handling
Shipping by forwarding agent: Once we have received payment, we deliver the goods to our shipping partner no later than the next working day. If you have selected "Advance Payment" as your payment method, you may need to allow 2-3 working days until the delivery date when payment is received depending on when our bank credits your payment to our account. As soon as we send the furniture for shipment, we send you written confirmation of shipping by email. Our shipping partner will contact you by phone within 5-7 working days to arrange a delivery date. It is therefore essential for you to provide a telephone number when ordering where you can be easily reached. Please accept our apologies that we have no influence over the time frame set by the forwarding company, since this depends on their own partners and scheduling. Deliveries take place from Mondays to Fridays.
Furniture Delivery
The furniture is packed in cartons on disposable pallets to ensure safe transport. The forwarding agent delivers the furniture to your curb. In most cases, it is advisable to ask a second person to help you take receipt of the delivery, because the boxes may be quite large depending on the model. We have been working with a reliable shipping partner for many years. Nevertheless, it is inevitable that occasional damage may occur during transport. As a customer, you are required to provide assistance in relation when taking receipt of the furniture.
IMPORTANT If you accept the delivery note directly from the driver without any further scrutiny, you are not entitled to claim on the insurance later!
Guidelines for accepting goods
• Please check the goods IMMEDIATELY for any damage (in the presence of the delivery agent).
• If you are unsure, please indicate "accepted under reserve" and make sure your note down on the confirmation of receipt the defects or where the dents are on the packaging. ("packaging dented/ripped" or similar). The driver will take the confirmation of receipt with him.
• If you see fit, take 2-3 photos of the packaging and the delivery note.
• You should still accept the goods, unless they are a total write off, and we will take care of the rest.
• If you are unsure, call us in the presence of the driver, and we will be happy to advise you on what is best to do.
